Inspired by the mythical hurdy-gurdy and bagpipe pairing, initiated by the greatest master pipers, Silènier moves from polyphonies of bagpipes, to viellistic virtuosity, via the softness of whistles. A project based on a traditional repertoire and recent compositions, serving ears most receptive to unique sounds, and fans of timeless ball dances.
